Now Scientists Create Virtual Functioning Brain

University of Waterloo neuroscientist Chris Elijah Smith has many years figuring out how to build a brain. Using his own brains course, that's a lot smarter than yours or mine. Now he composed his thoughts in a book that comes with instructions. Elijah Smith team Spaun, who is described as "the greatest simulation of a functioning brain."
That's not hype. It really is a simulation of a functioning brain. It recognizes numbers, notes and lists them in mind while writing them. It can even pass some basic obstacles in an IQ test.

It took over a year to build, and it can simulate many aspects of neuroanatomy, neurophysiology and psychological behavior. It will be interesting to see what happens with this in say, five years.
